1. History and Basic Explanation of Japanese Taiko Drums
We will learn about the traditions and roles of Japanese drums (Wadaiko).

2. Performance by professional musicians
Experience first-class performances up close. The powerful sound will move you to your very core.

3. Japanese Taiko Drumming Experience Lesson
Learn the basic stance, how to play, and the rhythm, while actually playing the instrument.

4. Experience playing together as a group
The sound created when the participants resonate together is truly impressive. You can experience a sense of harmony and accomplishment.

5. Commemorative photo and badge giveaway
After the photoshoot, you can take home a Mybachi (worth approximately 3,000 yen) as a souvenir of your experience.

Experience Details

Duration: 90 minutes. Number of sessions: 2 per day (10:00 AM / 2:00 PM)
Number of participants: Approximately 2-10 people (up to a maximum of 15 people)
Price: 15,000 yen (including tax and a mallet)
Venue: Inari Shrine. Multilingual support: Interpreters available.

Reservations required in advance via the official website of the Senan City Tourism Association (reservations accepted up to 2 days prior).

Cancellation Policy

Up to 7 days before the event date: Free
6 days to 2 days before the event date: 50% of the fee.
Cancellation on the day before or on the day of the event, or cancellation without notice: 100% of the fee.

1. About Safety

• Please note that you are responsible for any injuries or accidents that may occur during the experience.
• Please remove any accessories such as rings, bracelets, or watches before participating.
• Please follow the instructor's directions on how to play the drums. Playing them incorrectly may lead to injury or damage to the instrument.

2. Regarding physical condition and health

• Please refrain from participating if you are not feeling well, have a pre-existing medical condition, or are pregnant.
• Because this activity involves vigorous movements, please consult us in advance if you have any concerns about your lower back, shoulders, or wrists.
• If you feel unwell during the experience, please immediately inform the staff.

3. Regarding eligible participants

• Children aged elementary school and younger must be accompanied by a guardian.
• For safety reasons, participation may be restricted for children who have not yet started school.

4. Other

• If you damage the facility or the drums, you may be charged the actual cost of repairs.
• We may take photos of your experience. Please let us know in advance if you have any objections to the photos being published.
• Please take care of your valuables yourself.
